Vegetable Production Training Program Details
CAEP vegetable production training program placements generally include working with a large variety of different vegetable crops. Whether you are looking to join a small farm or a large operation, your program will be designed based on your ability, interests, and the skills that you are looking to improve. As an exchange visitor, you will gain hands-on experience working in sowing, transplanting, field preparation, and pest and weed control. You may also have the opportunity to help package, sort, and sell vegetable crops. You may also be trained in how to operate tractors and other commonly-used equipment.

Program Availability:
Seasonal placements generally beginning between March and July, ending in October
